Cannot access to the game (NTW)

Hello,

I've just bought the game today, but unfortunatelly I cannot play to it.

I insert the disk 1 and click on Setup.
It installs something called Steam. There's a Steam icon on my desk.
When I click on this icon, it says it doesn't work momentaly.
And that's all...

There's no autorun file, only a word-pad file called Autorun.

I've clicked on "start" from the disk1, and written my mail adress, but that's all. Nothning else happens.
When I click another time on start, there's a picture and it is asked me to click on Install (in French of course), it seems to load things, and after a while nothing else happens.

Is there something I didn't see to access to the game ?

Can you halp me ?

What happens if you click on the Steam icon? Steam right now is probably the only thing installed.
To play the game you will have to make an account in Steam, activate the game in Steam, and download all the patches before you can play. Sega's choice, not ours.

Thank you. When I click on Steam, there's an update runing (from 0 to 100%) and after a message : "Steam is not available for instance, try later".
But the "instance" is from a few hours.

Do you think all I have to do is to click on Steam to acess to the game ? If yes I will do it each time I'll be able ; I just hope the "instance" will not be "forever" .

If you do not have a Steam account, you are not playing.

Finally, after hours, steam worked. I created a count of course and it took a very long time to load things. But now I have the game !
It's the first time I buy a game with the game not on the DVD, but with such a system ; it's not very intuitive (I don't know the word in english, sorry) and I'm not sure I will do it another time for other games. But I think the good idea is that probably I will always have the last version of the game without neccessity to load patch from time to time.

The game seems good. I've played the "didacticiels" to train. I've found things which remain me my old loved Rome TW...
I think I will begin with Italy.
