IMO the not-written rule, we all know, but nobody wants to remind, is this: When you play in America it's highly probable that an American team prevails, when you play in Europe an European Team prevails.

Germany is impressive but, but, but ... they are playing in Brazil .... the climate is a key factor, add the pressure by the public, and last but not least, the 'atmosphere' (don't ask me details about what I mean, find yourselves the answer .. it's about how it works the crap named FIFA).

HORRIBLE match by brazil. I expected some nervosism in the first match, specially after doing an Own goal at the start. But this one.... Our midfield was completely gone, and our coach decided to take out Ramires....... Fernandinho should have entered at the half time in place of Paulinho, who hasnt done anything good since the start of the WC.

Once Felipão realizes Fernandinho should most definitely start the matches we'll play alot better. William also should have entered at the half time, and not with 7 minutes remaining, .

Still our chances were better, and their GK did some great work.

And stll confident though, and it was mexico, bastards are the only ones that always make it tough.
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

what an amazing performance from Ochoa (not to take away from Mexico's collective performance). in certain blocks he was lucky that the ball goes directly towards where he already is (like Thiago's header), but most of those saves were fantastic, especially the one where goal-line technology was actually helpful for once.

    OCHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

After every great save he made today he should be able to run around the field screaming and diving on the grass yelling and holding his hands to the sky.

I have just watched some TV Show and they were talking about proverb Caligula said in his conquest of Britannia namely: "Nobody like himself as Mario Balitelli" and showed his football card album with only Marios in place of Italian players.

You could argue they were the only "team" on the pitch. Yet, somehow Brazil, despite playing like an undisciplined mob, still created the better chances.

I think Brazil this year is like Brazil 82. To much expectation and overhypped.

Why does European teams seems to play much better this time ?
