If it is possible you could use the walls as shelter (edit more like trench walls) with the option to battle "take_cover."


take_cover (option in battle):


The pictures are taken from a custom battle with many walls (take_cover).

You could add (in the campaign map) these walls/trenches along the borders of the factions and places of real conflicts of WW1.
