Nice, we needed an icon - thanks Baxon!
By the way Coffin, are you planning to add new music for each faction at some stage? - Music isn't usually a high priority initially for mods.
release before Hanukkah please. also will kush be playable?
Man Slayers - Unique Units for Scythia and Mazaka (Classical Age: Total War Original Work)
The Man Slayers ride side by side with the men, to ensure victory for the Saka cultures. They come from royal tribes that can afford their education and equippment; from the great tribal confederations like the Skula and the Ma-Sakā. Few in numbers, but ferocious and determined as any elite force; they also serve as a symbol of fear for the foreign enemy; for they never saw a women riding on the battlefield, dressed as a man.
Kushite Unique Units (Aristeia: The Epic Cycle Original Work)
With their great range and penetrative power, Kushite longbowmen are deadly missile troops to be feared and admired.
Kushite axemen are powerful assault troops capable of breaking through ranks of armoured enemies with relative ease, though are poor in defence.
Kushite Generals Bodyguard (Soldier - Aristeia Original Work/Chariot - Judea Total War Original Work)
The chariot is not a weapon that most use in the Kushite society. Only those that are chosen by the high lords of Napata and Meroe can ride these vehicles of destruction.
Etruscan Roster: 1st Part (Paeninsula Italica Original Work)
Drawn from local hunters and fighting in their everyday clothes these men are the long range troops available to an Etruscan general.
Representing the lower classes of etruscan society these men come equipped with a long axe, even tough is not of the best quality, it still can hack a hole in the enemy infantry line; for defense they wear a single disk breatsplate and a semi-spherical cap made out of bronze.
The Etruscan Hoplite evolved with the growing Etruscan contact with the Hellenes. As southern armor became increasingly popular in Etruria, the main Etruscan battle line transformed from main dependence on swordsmen and light troop types to match the tactics of their southern, Magna Graecian neighbors.
2nd Part (Hegemonia City States Original Work)
The mainstay soldiers of the pre-hoplite era, the regular swordsmen are fast, brave and impetuous enemies, but find weakeness in their outdated old style negau helmets and armor.
The light cavalry constitute the fast, lightly armed and ranged Etruscan cavalry.
The Etruscans have adopted many Hellenic methods of warfare but they have not forgotten their own. The Etruscan Axemen are a testament to that military ancestry, a walking example of syncretic methods of warfare.
Armoured swordsmen are an elite among Etruscan soldiery, carefully selected and given the best training to make them superior warriors.
Etruscan generals ride to battle in chariots. They put fear into the hearts of enemies, and courage into the hearts of followers.
This was a hard roster to put in the game, and it makes me very proud to show to you all.
If you can, please show me some love and reputation
Greetings for the inclusion of Kush, Coffin. This is afaik the first time that it will be playable in a mod for Rome. Also good to see that their units dont appear too unhistorical.
