    Hello.
It happened to me at first, when I started playing mod for Kingdoms. I looked for a sollution and I found this application:

    Kingdoms Launcher

It's made to make it easier to launch mods with Steam, so that will solve your problem.
I hope it serves to you.

    Hi sickNsane,

I suppose you got the Med 2: Kingdoms from Steam and have tried every methods including re-install, fixing virtual store, or get the Kingdom Launcher App by Squid. If that is the case, you can try this simple trick. It works for me after spending hours of doing those things and still get the Uh oh sorry pal message after launching the Executable file.

First go into your mod folders. Change the name of one of your official mod, for example: "america" to "america_origins". Then change the Rise of Three Kingdoms folder name to "america". Now run the America campaign from Steam and the mod should run fine.

I really enjoy this amazing mod. Hopefully, they will release a fully functioning version soon cause after spending a day or two into this mod. The mod start to crash frequently for me.

    Good luck,

If you're getting crashes in-game (past loading screen, doing things like end-turn, battle loading, etc.), please post your log information here (set to trace, as per readme)

Apparently the latest Steam patch broke the mod compatibility for Steam users. Please proceed like this to fix it:

    1. Extract this file into the mods\Three_Kingdoms folder
    2. Create a desktop shortcut from that new\extracted file and start playing
