Surveyors

Skilled ship crewman and explorers, the Surveyors are swift and fast scouts tasked with charting and mapping the various islands of the Great Sea. Though not particularly skilled in combat, Surveyors are armed with a one handed crossbow and cutlass should they come across dangerous wildlife or enemy forces.
Assault Battalion

Ship crew that have been armed for land battles, the Assault Battalion are the most readily deployable and numerous combat unit in New Hyrule's forces. Their ability to man ships and quickly enter into a melee makes them versatile and invaluable.
Lanayru Mages

With the pure blooded Zora's numbers decreasing with each generation, the few Mages that remain have made it their order's goal to preserve their lineage. Able to unleash a powerful jolt of electricity like the Mages of the Domain once could, these units serve as supplementary ranged unit in New Hyrule's army.
Knights of New Hyrule

Hyrulean Knights that have left their homeland upon the request of Princess Zelda, these well armored warriors bring their iconic shields and swords into battle. They are one of the few professional units readily available to New Hyrule's land forces and are invaluable medium infantry in any engagement.
Knights of Red Lions

An Order of Hylian Knights established on the remains of Lon Lon Ranch, the Knights of Red Lions have brought the legendary horses with them to the Great Sea in an effort to breed cavalry for Tetra's forces. Though useless as crew on ships, the Knights of Red Lions serve as New Hyrule's lone cavalry unit and are invaluable in land battles.
Knights of Windfall

An Order of Knights that settled on Windfall Island, the Knights of Windfall have perfected ranged combat. Armed with a self loading rapid fire Crossbow rifle, the Knights of Windfall bring a deadly if inaccurate barrage of raw firepower to any battle. Though they can down scores of enemy infantry from a distance, They are extremely vulnerable when reloading their ammo packs and in melee.
Knights of the Iron Triforce

Their existence rooted in the Iron Clad Elites, the Knights of the Iron Triforce are the heavy hitters sent in when New Hyrule needs a location completely wiped out. Armed with a heavy mace, durable armor under their robes, and trident lantern, the Knights of the Iron Triforce command total respect from Hyrule's forces and inspire fear when enemies are made aware of their deployment.
Aquamarine Escorts

Aquamarine Escorts are often deployed from naval forces when enemy forces bring in units too small for their ships to directly attack. They are intended to safeguard ships from these potential attackers and are little to no threat against other enemy ships. Aquamarine Escorts are also capable of moving on shore and participating in land battles, serving as mid tier infantry unit.
Navigators

A light scout unit for New Hyrule's Navy, Navigators are the fastest ships that Tetra can deploy and are ideal for charting waters and leading other navies through rough waters. Manned by a small crew of Surveyors, Navigators can unleash small barrages of crossbow bolts at enemy forces and halt ramming ships in their tracks, but otherwise are not capable of direct combat with enemy fleets.
Gunboats

These small ships are loaded with a full battalion of Crossbow armed Knights of New Hyrule and are designed to attack the crew of enemy ships from a distance. Faster then most ships in New Hyrule's fleets, Gunboats can circle around enemy forces and pick off their crew. They are extremely vulnerable to ramming ships and other melee sea creatures.
Crossbow Cog

Slower but more heavily armored then Gunboats, Crossbow Cogs can move into much closer range of enemy ships and are more durable against ramming. They still are best used for attacking at a distance and are vulnerable to prolonged combat with melee sea creatures.
Broadside Frigate

The most powerful offensive force in New Hyrule's Navies, the Broadside Frigates bring arrays of powerful Labrynna Cannons to unleash on enemy navies. From a distance they can maintain a consistent and deadly onslaught of cannon fire, devastating even the most heavily armored vessels. They are unable to fire at closer ranges however, making them completely vulnerable to ranged ships that move in too close, ramming vessels, and sea creatures that engage in melee.
Command Frigate

Command Frigates are needed to lead large navies into battle. They are armed with two long ranged cannons at their bow, allowing them serve as artillery units and siege enemy navies from longer distances then other New Hyrule vessels. They inspire the crew of fellow ships and improve moral as well, though they are vulnerable to both ranged and melee attacks.
Princess Tetralyna Zelda V

Simply referring to herself as only Tetra, the crown Princess of Hyrule chose to personally lead her navies into the Great Sea. Though still learning how to properly command her ships as an admiral, Tetra's skill with swords have made her in invaluable general on land and a skilled leader of Outset Colony. On land Tetra is accompanied by a bodyguard of Knights of New Hyrule and is armed with a royal rapier and cutlass. On the Sea Tetra commands a Battle Cog manned by her loyal crew and is armed with crossbows.
Land Ability: Glory Charge - Enemy units that see Tetra charging suffer a morale penalty. The closer they are to her the more likely they are to retreat.
Sea Ability: Bow Catapult - Tetra's Cog launches the forward Catapult on the ship's bow at enemy forces from long range, potentially sinking an enemy ship instantly.
Captain Linebeck

Once an obscure sailor who ran cigar runs in Labrynna, Captain Linebeck gained the attention of Tetra when he realized he could sell Labrynna cannons to New Hyrule for steep prices. He has since worked with Tetra to arm her navy with cannons and outfitting ships with powerful armor. He's become extremely wealthy and hopes to retire on a tropical island in the Great Sea. On land Captain Lineback wields a Labrynna pistol and cutlass into battle, followed by his crew of pistol armed Labrynnians. On the Sea he commands his steam powered ship, the SS Linebeck, armed with a powerful long ranged siege cannon.
Land Ability: Magnificent Bastard - Linebeck's suave and charm inspire nearby allies to participate in battle, increasing morale and preventing units from retreating for a short time.
Sea Ability: Dragonpowder Round - Linebeck's crew loads his ship's cannon with legendary Dragonpowder, launching a highly volatile and explosive mortar that rains burning fire down on an enemy fleet.
Aryll

A member of the New Hyrule Navy that has been rising in the ranks, Aryll claims to be the sister of Link and has been searching for him ever since he disappeared from his family at the age of ten. Though not one for a sword fight, Aryll has shown exceptional skill at manning ships as well as having a knack for exploring the islands of the Great Sea. On land she scouts out enemy forces with a host of Surveyors. On the Sea she mans the fastest Navigator in New Hyrule's fleet.
Land Ability: Perseverance - Ayrll's tenacious endurance lets her continue on longer then most people, inspiring nearby soldiers to continue fighting even when tired. Restores fatigue.
Laruto

Once the Queen of Lanayru Province, Laruto became a Sage and came along with Tetra to the Great Sea after she relinquished the throne to Prince Ralis during his coming of age. She hopes to serve as a diplomat and bring peace amongst any new cultures that New Hyrule encounters, as well as healing the sick or injured. She has come into conflict with Captain Linebeck for his bold militarization of and arming ships with Labrynna cannons, as well as his womanizing behavior amongst her followers. On land Laruto runs into melee with a host of Aquamarines. On the sea she swims with a contingent of Aquamarine Escorts, keeping New Hyrule's navies safe from the dangers lurking under the ocean.
Land Ability: Sage of Peace - Laruto convinces an enemy unit to put down their arms and cease fighting, making them hesitant to obey orders and engage. Enemy unit will argue amongst themselves for a period of time before taking orders.
Sea Ability: Tsunami - Laruto uses her Sage abilities to unleash a giant wave towards enemy forces, tossing water creatures great distances and potentially sinking enemy ships.
