Thread: DeI part 4 and 5 updated/re-downloading (Steam) ?

    Default DeI part 4 and 5 updated/re-downloading (Steam) ?

I just noticed part 4 and 5 of DeI on Steam started to redownload / reinstall themselves on my installation. Anyone know if this sometimes randomly happens or did something change in the files?

Flipping the "ignore incompatible mods" tickbox on and back off should fix that Michaelpap.

Yeah, all 5 parts are now updated but there are no updates on any threads in TW or the description of the mod in Steam. I wonder what the heck is going on.

They released a beta patch (12) so in an effort to have the mod not show "out of date" we uploaded it again.

Sadly, I think the beta date check is based on individuals so it will probably show out of date for people who get the beta later. Unchecking the box will let you run the mod.

Also, and I will keep repeating this, the TWC version is massively superior:
    1. Its always the most current version of the mod.
    2. It won't auto update (and therefore keep you from playing)
    3. It is compressed so it is a 200MB download instead of 900MB
    4. There are many texture and other bugs in the Steam version due to being multiple packs

Yes, you download the TWC version and select it in the Mod manager, then deselect the Steam version.

Which TWC version are you talking about? It isn't here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php
Do you mean the mediafire one in the main thread?
