General opinion on Lithuania Mod

Lithuania lost out in a close contest with the Qipchaqs for the 21st slot. IN the end I guess it was the difficulty of implementing the Lithuanians in 1066.

Madtao is still associated with MTR and we hope to share and integrate his great Lithuanian skins into MTR because it would be a crime not to have Lithuanian units in MTR

thanks byzantineklibanophori,... I guess it was quite clear we could not hope for Lithuania tribe within that big of a mode... just hoping that you will cooperate with MadTao and get his permission to use his skins for M2TR so there will be no 'santaclaus' units in Lithuania!

Well it also quite a clear that having Lithuanian faction so ealry is not "good" in the mod(MTR) which starts in 1066, because the real "action" in Baltics starts only in the 13th century.
Though I suppose that year 1066(vanilla M2:TW starts around 1090 afaik) was chosen for the Byzantine lovers out there.
Though balts existed also in 11th century and I guess that the strongest tribes in those times were Curonians and Prussians. So if they go for realism, someone will have to get them info for Baltics in 11th century.

that was some sucky news. That will just get some unnatural dynamics for that mod. There will be no possibility to replicate "real" history of Eastern and Central Europe without Lithuania. Unless MTW II will allow to make rebels which will be able to conquer and actively expand.
So, not including Lithuania - is a loss to that mod

Yup saddly Lithuania is out. As far as I know Lithuania wouldnt be included in any of major mods

EDIT: The Lithuania MOD is a mini modification to represent ancient balt culture Lithuanian faction warfare in medieval period. The first goal is mod for for vanilla M2TW.Second is to give TW comunity acurate info about Lithuania and created units for the <<-- (??) the intro of mod description is not finished it shoud be corrected ASAP!!

I want to play Teuwtonic Order it's cool I think.But I don't feel much against Baltic nations so...may be it's not so cool after all.I generally feel sorry for Pomeranians and Prusso-Pruthenians which just dissappeared...P.S. It just that some my old folks were Germans living in Baltic before 1918 they lived there for 70 years they've been originally from Holstein.

Now, because is officially confirmed that there are 31 faction's slots we include Lithuania but probably under name Balts. After some certain period, Balts can become Lithuania.

As I said in other thread it is a bit awkward to have Balts in general which becoming Lithuania. It is better to follow the tradition and choose specific one, if Lithuanians not good take Prussians, if they not good, Lettis and so on.
