But he isn't the only staff member. Why do you think we have a staff forum? So the staff can discuss and multilaterally make decisions.

This is a forum. Some of you seem to be fantasizing some form of real relevence to claims of POWER and AUTHORITY from all this stuff.

Again, life is so much more than a forum and some petty 'role playing' in a Govt.
Amen. On most forums it's just 'Admin' and a couple of moderators, there's no need to have this sophisticated hierarchy, nor is there a need for people who take the forum to seriously.

Well the hierarchy is part of the fun here, and sets this place apart from most other forums. The trouble starts, as you stated, when people take it too seriously.

You aren't quite impartial are ya? You always put your FULL support for some cause or another
I don't claim to be. From what I read, Simetrical is no more guilty than anyone else involved. I'm putting my support behind him because I beleive it's the right thing for me to do, and that trumps any other thoughts I might have.

See, we're already going Byzantine! I wonder who is going to be publicly blinded? Or is anyone going to flee to a monastery? Or perhaps one of the factions is going to enlist the help of an invading horde to help them capture the Curia?

All I can say is. Is this really worth it? I mean all this intrigue and conspiracy and political and backstabbing, is it worth it just for a bit of imaginary power? It's not as though it's actually going to affect your personal lives.

Or else see if the actual owners of the site agree with the way I see things. Which is all I had hoped to do.

I aimed to "solve" what I saw as Archer's less-than-ideal decision-making, which I don't think is the best possible for the site. I tried to do this quietly and without fuss, and when I saw that I didn't have a great deal of support among my fellow staff, I quietly let it die. Only to have Fabolous break confidence and leak to LV, who then gave the info to GrimSta, who then posted it here drunk with no regard for what his doing so would accomplish. Rather like the RTR logs fiasco, actually: someone posts something whose posting accomplishes nothing but creating anger, resentment, and division.

Given what was said, Sim had no option but respond in the way he did. Quite frankly the whole thing is a mess and it should have all been dealt with privately. This is in no way Sim's fault, though.

Sim, don't talk about what you don't know. I didn't tell LV, I only didn't say you didn't try to stage a coup when LV came to me after he already knew. I did then work with LV, Kscott, and Archer on fixing the problem, but other things came up and that issue was temp put away.

Time to close. There is to be an internal investigation upon Archer's return and this thread has run it's course.

Can we leave it pinned though? I think that its an excellant reminder of what goes on back doors.

I would like to apologize for accusing you without sufficient evidence. I was only thinking of the exact wording of the PM LV posted, which I know came from you, because you're the only one who received that exact wording. I know what I'm talking about on that count. I guess I just thoughtlessly assumed the rest.

If you didn't tell LV about it to start with, though, I'll have to review my logs to figure out who it actually was. Hmm . . .
