I tried some factions but it all ended in desaster.
Can you give me some tips on your favorite factions and explain why it is so good?

For me the Abbasid's because I am surrounded by trade resources,2 Silks near my capital and 2 Sugar near one of my province which gives huge profits....then just a little bit East and you will find a Silver and Gold resource which is the ultimate money maker.....also me being considered as the head figure of Islamic Nations.

play as the Ayyubid faction they are fun and strong at the same time. They have really good provinces too. Play it at difficulty of Medium Medium if you are having trouble.
Thanks!
Any suggestions on Ghurids/Iraq and Byzanz?
What are the strenghts of the Ayyubíds and abbasids?
I am deciding between Abbasids, Ayyubids and Ghurids.Which of those would you suggest me to take to have a fun experience?
Anyone?
If you want a war from the start and lots of wars and battles then pick Ayyubid.....If you want ease and be rich and go a little bit easy and take Abbasid....If you want a hard game right from the start but with good units then take the Ghurids.

Why are the Ghurids so strong/which are their best units?
How strong are the Abbasid?
Which of those three have the best units overall?

Go to custom play and you will know by yourself every weakness and strength about them. As Hameem13 said you will enjoy peace and rich land around you but not for very long as the Iraqi seljuk starts moving towards you or Georgians. The Ghurids are in constant war all the time with Ghazinvide and Khwarezm then probably with Indian factions. It will always go up to what difficulty you are playing with.
Do you have a suggestion for a faction that has good money and strong horse archers?
After trying some factions, I now play as the Ghorids.Do you have some tips on army composition with them?
everyone plays different from another
I play as the Eastern Roman Empire, despite their weak starting position, they have some really good elite units, and hold the most profitable city in the world.
The Abbasids can grow very wealthy from their capital, they have few rivals at the start so you can blitzkrieg the nearby regions and grow very wealthy. They also have a wide array of Turkish and arab units to play around with... including some excellent HA. Another faction is the eastern romans, again they have a capital you can develop to become very wealthy... and have excellent access to HA too, more so than other factions... light HA are best as they can spew out arrows indefinitely. However the romans have to deal with a debt deficit at the start (-50k), and you have to hope for the best that the rum turks go after rebels instead of you otherwise things get 'interesting' in the early game. Usually they stick to rebs though, as long as you leave the Caucasus regions alone and focus on the mikra asia rebels. Blitz those nearby rebs quickly to deny the rum seljuks
