Ive just released a Youtube channel where I will be doing a comprehensive tutorial series for Modding Rome 2.

Each video is focused on a specific area and I've tried to keep them short and to the point. This is so it can also be used as a quick reference guide.

I started making the tutorials with the aim to show my new mod team members how to do certain things but then decided to expand the scope of the tutorials so as to hopefully be an all encompassing tutorial series for beginners and a quick reference for more experienced modders.

I start off with the basics and plan to go into more details with each episode.

Hi man, those tutorials are sweet . If its not much to ask i would love to learn how to create new textures, so far i can recolor them and add them to my custom units, but i want to know the artistic part, how do you give some new designs to textures. I'm not a native english speaker so if i didn't explain myself tell me please .

Im actually a pretty bad texturer. I can show how to do some things in a tutorial like alpha channels, converting normals to the orange rome 2 format, what the different colours in masks do and other general things like that, but the artistic stuff is not really my strong suit. I think one of the texturers from my mod team was thinking of doing some tutorials on it. If / When he does I'll be sure to link to it.

Only thing I'd say is maybe turn off the Windows Error sound when you're recording. I turn up my youtube volume to hear you better and then when that goes off it scares the bejeesus out of me lol.

Just a suggestion. To me it seems like the volume is turned down really low. You might want to increase it for your mike.

@hunterwolf, cheers mate. would be helpful. I've not yet started getting into the 3d stuff yet but would like to do some tutorials on it once i get my head around it as i know a few people struggling with it.
