There is no easy way to deal with TSE, especially when they've been given the time to capture Egypt. They have a huge population pool to recruit from, and by this point the more advanced barracks.

Try to make peace with all other opposition. Not easy, as it rarely lasts. Then, cripple trade as much as is possible by blockading TSE ports.

Even if you can do both, it will still be a massive struggle. You will just have to break them down bit by bit. Very hard to do an Alexander the Great against TSE, so a blitz is out of the question.

The one positive is that you will be able to replenish your army when you capture TSE cities.

    Good luck, it isn't easy.

Could you post some screens so we see your progress, and give some detailed advice?

This advice comes much too late, but just in case... even though the Seleucid empire is huge, most of its production and financial power base will be centred around the Mediterranean - use a stack to pillage their port cities, conquering, exterminating, destroying their production buildings and moving on. It's probably easiest to do this from the sea with the help of a fleet. The money gained from sacking the cities will pay for the army upkeep. Even if they take the cities back, their production capability will be significantly reduced, and they may have unrest issues as well due to city size and a lack of law buildings. The next step is to attack their larger cities inland, following a similar system, although you will be at much greater risk of having your army cut off and annihilated - I recommend using a few spies to provide scouting, and always finishing move on highly defensible locations such as mountainsides or river crossings. A secondary benefit of this will be to pull their armies away from the front line, allowing you to make progress there.
