This doesn't work

I downloaded the mod, patched it with the cumulative thing, patched RTW to 1.5, and followed all the instructions for the shortcut in the readme file but whenever I launch from the shortcut all it does is launch the game normally for a few seconds, gives me a black screen, and then says "Rome Total War has stopped working." I did everything the instructions said and everything is up to date but it just won't work.

Try deleting the map.rwm that is in the base file

go to data and then click world and then press maps and then go to click base, should solve things if I remember correctly
