Permanently won't work
Hi, I tried modding some files, it didn't work and just caused a crash to desktop, so I reverted the files back to the original, but it STILL crashed. So I uninstalled and deleted everything, even Medieval 2 Total War and Kingdoms, and reinstalled, but it still crashes.
Can anyone help with this?

Nevermind, I discovered the problem, Windows 8, the horrible horrible operating system, decided to keep a separate cache in a hidden directory, so whenever I reinstalled, it wouldn't even notice.

Is your game a CD version or a Steam version? Asking just to know how probable that problem is to happen to anyone else.
