Default Do you know 'Vici.org'? Classical antiquity nearby.

As for the title, I've just discovered the site 'Vici.org' - Classical antiquity nearby - and it's an interesting site.

I was consulting the map of the online version of the Tabula Pointigeriana and I've found on it, the link to Vici.org and it's simply a wonderful experience thousands of sites, places, towns, castra, ruins all over Europe and Mediterranean area, really a nice site, and it's interactive and you can add new places to the map, it's based on Google Map, of course, and it's extremely simple to use.

Amazing Diocle, such a nice discovery, thanks. Apparently i have a ruin of a temple dedicated to the Emperor just a few km to the shore. Who would have thought.

.... Sertorio you work too much on RTW-BI unit making, forgetting you live in one of the most ancient and mysterious and beautiful lands of Europe!

Attila the Hun complained about that Map, he arrives expecting at least a 4 star hotel and finds a donkey shed?

Does it show the best places to collect skulls?
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!

Instead the site offers wonderful pics of fascinating places:

And if you look only at the distribution of the yellow markers along the Limina, you can see the incredible dimensions and the disposition of the Roman Military machine along the borders, and probably the unsolved problems that caused its fall.
For me Vici.org is a wonderful site, and if I could, I would have given myself some rep as did Sertorio Optimus Maximus!
