    Umberto would be my guess, too, but being a sneakier person, I also noticed Tiago's location.
    My guess would be the assassination of Charles I and his heir, Louis Philippe, which pretty much ended the Portuguese monarchy.

    Indeed, it is the assassination of D. Carlos I and of his first-born son Luís Filipe, which lead to his second son D. Manuel II to ascend to the throne, later overthrown at the Installation of the Republic of 5th of October 1910!
