Paleologos I think you are technically correct but you mixed up the dates. Krushchev visited America in '57 and Nixon visited Russia in '59.

Okay, I checked the Nixon Wikipedia page but it says that Nixon went to the USSR in 1959. So I'm guessing that the page you checked made a mistake.

That's not Krushchev, it's his polar opposite - Dwight D Eisenhower! His inauguration in 1953. There is a resemblance between the two in 1953, the year that Krushchev also came to power in the roll as 'First Secretary of the Party'.
