    Default Making a story about the Battle of Marathon, any help or tips?

    Hello, can anyone help me with a story, it's about a hoplite named Aristophanes Apolodoros tou Athenai ( Any better names )? Anyway, he is at that battle of Marathon, it starts with the Persian fleet coming into view, and news that the spartans have arrived, also i have added some news from the oracle (Historically this news was after the battle of Thermopylae, 10 years later, but i decided to use it) and it ends at the point Phepides (how do you spell it?) brings news to Athens about victory, any help would be appreciated,

    Your idea sounds good. If you are writing it for fun it would be great it perhaps you posted a sample or installments of your story in the creative writing section. That way people can comment on it and see how the story is as you flesh it out.

    Historical setting information, or just suggestions for events/story progression?
