    Here is the Fire at will with the the Romans carrying pilum.

    Edit: ok here is the fixed file....it was a animation error....they no longer rout

    Downloaded, copied to Data, activated in CA launcher.. Doesn't work.
    I was so close to naming my firstborn child Ant, too...

    Ok.
    Used the Mod Manager instead of the Steam Launcher. I placed it right above DEI and didn't work, so I placed it at the very top of my list (above 10 other submods) and it worked.
    But... The projectile speed is whack.. way, way too fast dude.. and they don't have enough ammo.. A First Cohort of 400 men dropped like 14 Hoplites with all their ammo in a whopping 4 seconds. Thats not cool.

    Thankyou for this though, really. Could you tone down jav speed and increase ammo or damage?? Preferably ammo.

    You can do this......I just wanted to give you all the animation....just go into the projectile table and set the pilum to what you want.....the idea behind this was not to wipe out units, but disrupt them and break moral. I will not be updating this mod.

    Glad to help.....Just a tip, don't go to overboard cause you will end up wiping out entire units...Have fun.

    hi dude thanks for the super addition! please tell me you added this option only for the Romans or the entire infantry which has thrown weapons

    Its just for Romans. Only roman sword units have this.

    Just curious.. Why did you make the velocity 90, as where others are about 35..?
    Looks like a musket volley to me

    Could you point me to the table where I can tweak unit ammo?

    Land units table. I did it because instead of killing it wounds and breaks up their formation. I had good results with it....but i mainly just like the units carrying their pilum. Lol

    Just came across a bug..
    1 praetorian and 2 legions.. once the entire army has used ammunition they rout.
    (Eager: General Nearby)
    *all 3 units use pilum*
    (Wavering: Army Losses)
    Then rout.
    0 losses on my side.

    Tried with 2 kinds of general and 2 kinds of cohorts. Same result.
    Afraid to use all my ammo in my Campaign games... I think Ill keep one unit with FAW toggled off the whole battle.
    Do you know whats going on?

    Edit: I increased range, doubled ammo, slightly increased shockwave effect, and lowered damage slightly.

    It only does it in the custom battle.....I used in campaign never had a problem....Might want to load a old save and do a battle to double check. Something with the custom battle....but I tried it on my campaign didn't happen....let me know if it does.


    Yeah, I do not know what is going on......something is messed up....Maybe a modding expert like Mr. Selea could shed some light.
