    Rome: Virtual War!

I need some help getting this set up. I've seen some people try this in the past and it fails, but if I can get some help it would be greatly appreciated. I currently have the time and the will-power to get something like this up and rolling. I currently have a very basic body done, but I'd like 1 or 2 admins to help me with the effort.

Sorry for putting this in the wrong place first off...lol

It's not a mod though, It's more so a forum based virtual war. The players choose a team (Brutii, Cathaginian, etc.) and play as that faction in battles set up by the nation.

You will receive ranking systems as you play more battles.

The better you are as a general, the more funds you are allowed per battle.

As your empire expands, you are able to spend more money on battles.

The concept of the game is one of global domination like the Imperial Campaign, but played via Multiplayer battles in which massive battles can be fought, plots made, and so much more can be made by realistic people. I'll explain more as I work on modding the forum to work as it is necessary, but I need help with membership. No necessity to work on something that no-one is interested in

    Thanks.

The main issue would be that people would have to probably play the vanilla on the latest patch to play or find others within their version to participate.

It seems very interesting, but a disaster for the server. Imagine about 500 users at the same time, playing RTW with highest unit size, details, ...

I really don't see this growing that drastically due to the awaited arrival of Medieval Total War 2.

    Easy ways to deal with:

Organize battles through the week, doing the best to even it out.

Prepare armies to be on Large or Normal, not Huge.

Have the forums active/interesting enough to slightly distract people from the game, giving the server a rest, so to speak.
