Default How long does the civil war last?

I retook some of my old settlements in Gaul, and then the next turn, the roman rebels pushed me out again

It shouldn't last for any more than a few turns then you have to retake everything, of course there will be the normal rebellions taking place from disgruntled provinces but the mass roman traitor rebellion doesn't last long. So if you are in the mist of it it can be bit frastrating when you reteake a few provinces only to have lost them again next turn because the reblion is still in pocess.
