    Welcome to the First Release of my Medieval Mini Roster Pack!! I have made a unit consisting of 4 units and gave the unit to the Iceni with modified stats! Watch 4 different medieval units plus an officers and banner carriers battle against your enemy in custom battles! In time, I will update this mod with mini rosters from other nations! Credits for the models and certain textures goes to Narf, Dejawolf, Pino, Luca and the awesome folks in the Mount and Blade Warband Open Source Project. Here's what you will get with this mini roster.

    Q: Are you going to do other nations?

    A: Yes, I will be doing units for a variety of European Nations. I will want to stay with European stuff for now though. Here's my plans for now.(Not in any order.)

    Q. Will you expand these rosters?

    A. Yes, but like many other great mods for Rome 2, I want to start out small and branch out. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, since that's led to problems with my mods in the past.


    Q. Can you recruit these units in the campaign? Will you make this into a Medieval 3?

    A. For now it's custom battle only. I don't have the time, resources or skill to make this a full blown Medieval mod yet. I do have some help now which will be revealed as some point.

    Q. Can we use your work in our mod?

    A. Yes! All my stuff is free to use, as long as I get credit for the texture work of the surcoats and shields. None of the models in this mod are mine, neither are some of the textures either. They belong to open source project from the likes of Narf, Dejawolf and others in the Mount and Blade Warband Community. So make sure you realize who did what and credit accordingly.

    Cant wait till a more Overhaul/Campaign kinda modder sees this and conacts you about collaboration This is a start to something I see that will become big

    Oh and just a little piece of advice, maybe make the helmets just a tad smaller, they look pretty big. Bobblehead Knights LOL

    Okay, I have a couple of screenshots of the English Knights with 10 variations. I'm still only almost halfway done! I'll post another update when I reach 15, then 20, etc.

    I've reached 17 variations guys! Incidentally, in order to arrange things right, I have to make it 25 variations, not 22. I also might need some help to put the unit in the game as it's own unit. It's using the Painted Ones slot right now.

    I must agree with Brennan2036, the helmets do look quite big.

    Those Great Helms WERE big.

    Dude this is so awesome. I hope that in the future a complete overhaul to medieval period will follow, if not at least we will have some units to fight with

    Thanks for the offer, but after some trial and error, I figured it out. I even made it so this knight unit has it's own, "officer" So that's actually a major step towards it completion actually. I have 20 completed variations, I have 1 that is halfway done and 4 more planned. Some other stuff I was thinking about was changing the nature of the unit so it's mounted only. Because of the dismount feature, that might be more accurate. Alternately, I might just make both versions.

    @Toon, I think, in theory you can, if you know what you're doing.
