Default So today is the great day - Modding summit takes place right now

    Hi TWC fellows,

it might be CA will open another official thread for the same matter, in this case mine could be merged later. However I hope that anyone of those people that are informed about who actually went to the modding summit can place a list of participants here and hopefully the participants could share their impressions and results of this event here. Perhaps anyone of them even have access from Horsham via tapatalk or sorts and drop us a greeting and a line in a break.

    Looking forward to your response.

Many of my past contributions in the time from 2011-2017 will contain content that now show broken links. Unfortunately I had to delete all pictures linked on TWC that were hosted on imageshack.us. Read why

Yes I'm keeping an eye open. I spoken with Craig about it the other day and he said the plan is to take some questions through Twitter hopefully.

I would like to think the summit will change CA's stubborn attitude towards the reception to their fans.

Unfortunetly, being CA, I expect alot of hot wind and announcement of unrequested DLC.

    Prove me wrong, Will.

Lestad: Craig said that it might take time, but will see in future. We also asked about if we can add own models to map like custom Wonders etc... but we will see.

JFC: It was good suggestion, that CA can consider about it and added to wishing list.

Guys, please ask about possibility to have some sort of a technical discussion channel with them so we could get answers about technical aspects of the game. There is a huge amount of things in the game that we only have to guess and official tools are of a limited help as well..

If you have facebook, check "Total war" and there is picture from our modding summit.

"Today we're hosting the second Modding Summit, and we've got quite a turnout! So far we've discussed tools, developing a closer relationship with modders and more. Expect attendees to write their own impressions of the day soon."

    I asked by Jack lusted:

Why I don't see that elephants grab roman soldier on his nose and throw it away?

Lusted: It is rare movement by elephant that there is very small chance to see that elephant grab soldier and throw it away.

its Aspis btw or also called Argyve Shield.. Hoplon was a name for entire panoply Hoplites used. But your request stands... it really needs improved animation, as it should be strapped to forearm instead of held in the center..

i have mentioned this to Wangrin some time ago, but, ask them if there is any chance to externalize Battle AI into packs, so we could tinker with it..

Also, it wouldnt hurt if certain abilities were also externalized, like for example bonuses for mounting/dismounting, being on board/not being on board, rising shields due to being fired at, etc..

also wouldnt hurt if special abilities also had opposite conditions, not only negative ones.. for example If you want to add some ability to cavalry to be only available when dismounted, you cant because there is only "being mounted" condition...
