Campaign 1500 version 2.3.6 not working

I've installed and reinstalled this mod more than i could count and I solely want to play the 1500 campaign but everytime I click on which faction to play and then click begin, it just goes back to the main menu and then when i press any other option it crashes to the desktop. Can someone out please help me?

Can you get this mod to crash, then upload an error log. This thread explains how to do this.

Hi all. I know the thread is old but I have the same problem. The problem is with the txt files at the "conquest\data\1500". I'm sure of it because when I put older txt's, it's working. But I can't use old files because it creates problems in game. I can't create a error log because I'm using v2.3.5. Thanks

I found the solution! This fix allows you to play in the campaign of 1500 and 1453. Enjoy!
