Battle Formations Stuff
Sinuhet Formations 7.0
Sinuhet has optimized my export_descr_unit.txt file to work optimally with his new formations 7.0
I have changed myself additionally (all negativ effects go to my weak skills in this field)
the following parameters in the file export_descr_unit.txt:
- the attack cycle time from 25 to 0 for all units except the heavy phalanx (here the value is 10), so the units are fighting now as on cocain...
old: stat_pri 9, 4, no, 0, 0, melee, simple, piercing, knife, 25 , 0.75
new: stat_pri 9, 4, no, 0, 0, melee, simple, piercing, knife, 0 , 0.75
the following parameters in the file descr_formations_ai.txt:
included the bridge/siege formation part from darth
included the pseudoshield (loose is in reality very close) for heavy units as in darth mod:
example roman formation with defend flag and defend/attack flag:
unit_density loose, close
this means the units stay very cloose (loose) and spread itself if changing to another modus (attack)
the invers for attack flag
unit_density close, loose
the units are spread out in attack and converge in the case of status change (defend) to very close (loose)
Just in case you have deleted the AI file by playing around with formations, here is the download for the file as in my current Mod BBW 8.0. Just copy it into the data folder for restore

Darth Formations as in Darth Mod 8.1
Before BBW 8.0 I used Darth field formations, so here they are (as in Darth mod 8.1, unmodified from my side)
Upload and unzip the file descr_formations_ai.txt and copy it into the data folder

So you will see different battle behaviour on the battlefield and you can choose the style as you want.
Warning: changing battlefield stuff changes although the behaviour of the factions in the campaign so be careful....
