Lord Harmund Lefford, Lord of Golden Tooth Harmund Lefford, Lord of Golden Tooth, Bannerman of House Lannister Harmund Lefford was never a great swordsman: even as a young man his skills lay with thinking rather than in his sword arm. Like Raymar he is more fond of fighting in battles than directing them, and as the second son he is left more to his own devices: Raymar is expected to rise to the rank of Lord of Golden Tooth and is treated as such, Godric is not. He enjoys travel, and can often appear in unlikely places in the world as a result. Ser Ulfric of Sarsfield Ulfric is a seasoned man-at-arms and a long-time soldier in the pay of House Lefford. A trusted Lieutenant of Lord Lefford, he often acts as a bodyguard or taskmaster for his Lord, ensuring things happen when Harmund wants them to happen and things don't happen when Harmund doesn't want them to happen. He is a skilled swordsman and ruthless man: his one virtue in life is loyalty to his leige lord. Rarely seen apart from Lord Lefford, and it is a safe bet that when he's apart from his Lord it is because his Lord has sent him on a task. Lord Hugo Arryn

Lord Hugo is a dark man, most interested in his power, influence and control. Called 'Bloody Hugo' by some, the Eyrie's Moon Door has seen more victims under Hugo than under the last few Lords of the Eyrie combined. His court is a mix of allies sharing in his lack of morals, courtiers too scared of him to do much else, and those who are too foolish to see or who have turned a blind eye to his manner. Despite his soft eyes and often calm voice, none who know him take him at his appearance. His wife died a few years ago leaving two sons and two daughters of House Arryn. He has not remarried. Ser Rickard Arryn is a picture of the Eyrie's Master-at-Arms more than of his father. Gentler, fairer and more even handed, Rickard is not as dark as his father, but is not snow white either. Very much like his father in manner and thought, Harras is a loner by nature, happier outside on horseback than in any court and often seeks to command any Arryn cavalry as a result. Jehaine is the only bastard of the late Lord William Hawthorne, last of House Hawthorne. While she had been living within her father's Hall she had never been legitimized, and as such had no claims on the land when her father died during a hunting accident. Aware that the code of chivalry applies to all, she has taken in the troops that had formerly been under her father's command and makes her living as a sellsword, hoping to make enough of a name for herself to be judged worthy to be legitimized by the Lord Paramount of the Reach, the Tyrells, and ultimately earn the honor to be worthy of her father's House. Her shield shows the former banner of House Hawthorne.

House Lannister of Casterly Rock

House Lannister of Casterly Rock is one of the Great Houses of Seven Kingdoms, and the principal house of the Westerlands. Their seat is Casterly Rock, though another branch exists that is based in nearby Lannisport. Their sigil is a golden lion on a field of crimson.[1] Their official motto is "Hear me roar!" However their unofficial motto, equally well known, is "A Lannister always pays his debts."[2][3] The Lannisters reigned as Kings of the Rock until they fell to the Targaryen conquest, but were allowed to remain the liege lords of the Westerlands. The Lannisters are the richest family in the Seven Kingdoms, due in large part to the many gold mines under their control, despite by no means being the largest kingdom and being rather mountainous. Members of the family tend to have golden hair and emerald green eyes.

Bio: Amerei was for many years the only child of her father and inherited the Reach from him when she was fourteen. Under her uncle's regency she was kept inside the castle whilst he ruled as the unofficial lord of Highgarden for many years, until one morning when the uncle found Merianne sitting on the Gardener throne, with two ranks of knights in front of her. He was chained and sent to the wall for treason and since then Lady Tyrell has ruled. When she was 16, she married her other uncle.

House Stark of Winterfell



House Stark of Winterfell is one of the great houses of Westeros and the principal noble house of the North; many lesser houses are sworn to them. In days of old they ruled as Kings of Winter; since the Targaryen conquest they have been Wardens of the North. Their seat,Winterfell, is an ancient castle renowned for its strength. Their sigil is a grey direwolf racing across a field of white, and their words are "Winter Is Coming", one of only a few house mottoes to be a warning rather than a boast. Members of the family tend to be lean of build and long of face, with dark brown hair and grey eyes. The stark family has been going throught dire times as many of the men have been killed in the fighting against the Skagosii, bandits and the Spring sickness.

As his brothers grew either merry or hot headed Torrhen remained grim focusing on his studies most of all, it came to him as no surprise that when their father passed away Eddard was the one that became Lord of the North. Oddly enough he was the only brother that married due to his attempt to curry favour with other Northern lords, always musing thoughts of rebellion. It came as a great shock when his brothers passed away and he was made Lord, althought he knew he ought to be happy he only felt a great grief for his dead kin and from that moment onwards refrained from any dishonourable thoughts or actions torwards his family or vassals. History

HOUSE CORBRAY is an ancient and pure-blooded Andal lineage from the Vale, founded six thousand years ago when the Andals first came to Westeros. If the stories are to believed, the first Corbray, Ser Corliss, fell in love with a First Men princess, but she shunned him and endangered his position and friendship to Ser Artys Arryn, the Falcon King, for she had come from the court of the Griffin King and worshipped the weirwoods as her gods. Ser Corliss, mad in love, convinced Ser Artys to imprison the fair maiden in his keep, to keep her as an "honoured guest" in order to guarantee the good behaviour of her kin. Despite every attempt of Ser Corliss to court and seduce her, the princess shunned him and kept herself locked within a tower room. Ser Corliss could not do anything, for love works in strange ways, and he would not enter the princess' chambers without her consent. Thus, the princess lived and died in a forlorn life, while Ser Corliss was forced to watch her life force fade away, bit by bit, second by second, until nothing else remained but bones. In her honour, the knight named his keep Heart's Home and took for his sigil a raven - a metaphor for the Old Gods and the forlorn princess - stealing away his heart. Thousands of years later, a lord of Heart's Home came into the possession of a Valyrian steel longsword, which he named Lady Forlorn in honour of the late princess. Since then, Lady Forlorn has become the ancestral sword of House Corbray, being passed from father to son, uncle to nephew

He is a tall man, strong in the prime of his age. His once dark hair has now gone almost completely white and his sideburns have given way for a short beard. Born a third son, he could not hope to inherit any lands and thus sought out other ways to gain wealth and glory. As a child, he trained hard his swordsmanship, which he would eventually excel. At age ten, he was sent to be fostered at Ninestars and to serve as squire to Ser Marq Templeton. Gwayne rose to prominence at age sixteen, when he and his guardian answered Lord Arryn's summons to push back the hill tribes, who had murdered the then Knight of the Gate. Not only did Gwayne save Ser Marq's life, but he also slew one of the most important wildling warlords, the chieftain Hagga, son of Haggon, in personal combat, at a skirmish near Bluewater Pass. For this feat, he was knighted by Lord Arryn himself. Once a knight, he gained fame at the tourney lists, especially at the Tourney of Gulltown, when he championed and unhorsed several high lords, including his own father. In 182 AL, Ser Gwayne was appointed as the Knight of the Gate, charged to bring the King's Peace to the hill tribes and to protect the Vale of Arryn against wildling raids, the highest honour the Vale had to offer. However, his inexperience cost him several good men and important knights, which was soon noticed by the valelords. Ser Gwayne was spared the inevitable clash by the untimely death of Prince Aemon the Dragonknight, killed while defending King Aegon IV against the treacherous Toyne brothers. It was a surprise to him when he was summoned to Court and a much greater one when the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard gave him a white cloak before the Iron Throne. Ser Gwayne accepted without second thought; as a boy he had always wanted to be a knight of the Kingsguard, although he had by then discarded that notion as a childhood folly. Ser Gwayne swore his vows before the King, the Lord Commander and the whole Court. Soon enough, the news had spread and, while most valelords sighed in relief, Lord Steffon was very proud of his son's achievement. He was old and frail then and could not lift, not to mention wield, House Corbray's ancestral longsword. He was utterly loyal to King Daeron II and was often considered the best swordsman of the Kingsguard, as well as a paragon of virtue and honour. Ser Gwayne had a brilliant future ahead for him, the King naming him Lord Commander being only a matter of time. However, the gods denied him this life at the Battle of Redgrass Field. Ser Gwayne and his sworn brothers rode by the side of the king-to-be Maekar Targaryen against the bastard Daemon Blackfyre, who dared to claim himself King of the Seven Kingdoms. Ser Gwayne, wanting to end the bloodshed once and for all, challenged Blackfyre to a duel in the midst of the battle, confident he could win. The duel was a clash of titans, worthy of a thousand and one songs and stories, for they fought for one hour, Kingsguard against King, the beauty of Lady Forlorn against the massive Blackfyre. The duel seemed to be weighted to Ser Gwayne's side in the beginning, but neither managed to to gain the upper hand. Eventually, Daemon Blackfyre slashed at Ser Gwayne's face, but this time the white sword could not dodge. Blackfyre took his right eye with a clean hit, while it made a ruin of his other one. The White Raven collapsed in pain, but Daemon showed him mercy and had his friend Redtusk take him to the care of the maesters. However horrible the consequences, Ser Gwayne's sacrifice gave time for Prince Baelor to arrive with the Dornish spears and ambush the rebels, while the Bastard himself was let exposed to Bloodraven's arrows. Ser Gwayne survived the Redgrass Field, but with a great cost. His right eye had been completely destroyed, while he lost most of his vision in his left one. King Daeron hailed him as a hero at King's Landing and guaranteed him nothing had changed. Ser Gwayne knew better, though. He was blind and not able to fulfill his duties. A fortnight later, he asked for the King's leave to go join the Night's Watch as a black brother, thus forsaking his white cloak for a black one. Daeron had first refused to let him go, but Prince Baelor would convince him. Ser Gwayne sent Lady Forlorn back home to his brother Lord Lyonel. Upon arriving at the Wall, he was immediately made a ranger, although it was mainly an honourary position, for he could not venture Beyond the Wall or stand watch atop of it. The White Crow, they had begun to call him, and as Ser Gwayne grew older and older, so did his nickname. Despite his loss of vision, Ser Gwayne is still a decent swordsman, having relentlessly trained his left eye and his instincts for the next thirty years in Castle Black's courtyard. Of course, he never recovered his former skill, not even a tenth of it, but at least the new untrained and green recruits cannot easily defeat him anymore. House Whent of Harrenhal

History

HOUSE WHENT has only very recently become a major house in the Riverlands, ruling the Gods Eye from their cursed seat of Harrenhal. The Whents can trace their lineage back a few hundreds of years. The records are shady, but House Whent seems to have been founded as a proper landed house around three hundred years before Aegon's Landing, when a steward named Whently was given lands around the Gods Eye, sworn to the river kings of House Justman. The Whents disappear for some time after that, only to appear again by the time of Aegon's Conquest, in which a knight named Ser Osgood Whent took part, gaining a place in Lord Qoherys' household. The current Whents seem to be descended from one of Ser Osgood's grandsons, who eventually inherited Whently Hall. Whents served in both the Dance of Dragons and in the Blackfyre Rebellion, becoming trusted stewards and captains of the Lothston lords. Indeed, Lord Lucas Lothston, commonly known as "the Pander", married his ninth child to Ser Boros Whent, Knight of Whently Hall. The Whents, however, fell out of favour during the rule of Lord Lucas' son, Lord Manfryd, and further distanced themselves when Mad Danelle bathed in the blood of virgins and practiced the dark arts of sorcery within Harren's Halls. The Whents were given Harrenhal after the Mad Maiden's failed rebellion, both for their bravery in battle and for their blood ties with the previous lords. House Whent's sigil is nine black bats on gold, a reference to the marriage of the ninth Lothston child to Boros Whent, and their words are We are the Curse.

Ser Halys Mudd, 'The Cloaked Knight'

Age: 207 AL (26 years old at gamestart)
Appearence: A thin, muscular man with Westerosi appearence, not the tallest knight, but not small; half of his left ring finger is missing due to a wound in battle, black hair is cut short for most of the time, his face definitly beautiful, but already covered by a scar over his right eye. Halys' look is most times serious and not joyful at all.

Biography: Before his father, a man, who claimed himself to be a descendant of House Mudd, died, Halys spent an unpleasant youth while their family was wandering through the city states, always in search for a worthy employment. Since he grew up with the story, the old man always told him and his siblings, he believed as the firstborn of the family the most in the backstory of their family. Descendants from River Kings, living in exile just because of either the Andal invasion, the Stormking or the Hoare kings, maybe a mixture of both the last mentioned things. A family, nobody really cared about, as the Tullys, former vassals of Riverrun, have replaced the proud Kings of Oldstones.
So it was not surprising, that the death of his father, as he barely managed to keep at least his three remaining children alive after his wife and two other siblings have died, made him outrageous about their situation, making him already at the age of 11 years responsible for the survival of the family clan. At this moment, Halys Mudd began to spread blood for saving their lifes and had chosen to become a sellsword.
Though it was a rough way, he didn't die like most of the men around him and managed obtain the knowledge of riding a horse very early, thanks to another exiled man, a former hedgeknight, called Barnabas the Grim Reaper. For Halys he was for a short time something like a tutor, as he was probably a criminal, merciless in battle and not a fair knight, but was in opinion, that exiled Westerosi, undepending if royal, lordly or common families, should stick together. Selfless as he was, the man, whom they called Grim Reaper due to his fancy, black cloak, he wore over his armour and the sickle formed lance, gave away his knowledge towards the young Mudd and even knighted him at his 16th nameday after a glorious battle near Volantis.
Then, however, he attempted to rape his sister Ashara - and the comradeship of both knights ended in Mudd killing the hedgeknight in front of his crying child sister, nude and already being tortured by the Reaper. At this point, Mudd realized how cruel even the world of knights could be, when looking down at the dead monster.
Since then, Mudd continiued the fight in the sellsword companies, sometimes changing his loyalities, but for the most time being a lawful man, who gave himself the goal to prove, that he was not like the other persons around him in the hot scorpion pit of Essos. Until the day he heard about Maelys Blackfyre, gathering more troops than usual around the Golden Company...

After her father falling ill and passing on ten years ago, the Princess has ruled Dorne since with a relatively detached and passive outlook on affairs in other realms, only keeping tabs on events that may impact Dorne itself.
