Khwarazmian or Ghaznavids?

Hey guys,

I have a question about these factions, I assume that you are better informed than me in this themes, and I need your help.

I work in a mod, a crusade thematics mod, mod starts in 1143 , This is the question: I like to know that faction, Ghaznavids or Khwarazm Shahs put in this red zone of the map , cities of Qazvin and Hamadan in the region (this is a complete map of the mod.)

I have many conflicting info, documentation, reports and which is the most appropriate to put in this zone.

Wikipedia says:

Ghaznavids 962–1186 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghaznavids
Khwarazmian Empire 1077–1231/1256 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khwarazmian_dynasty

Mod starts in 1143, but 2 factions in the same zone? WTF? I see the 2 maps of 2 factions, and I don't Understand

Initially put the Ghaznavids in the red zone, but is correct? or put the Khwarazmian Empire?

None. In 1143 the area was controlled by the Seljuks (especifically the Great Seljuks).

base on what I see on the map that's not where Ghazni's and Khwarezm's are located,the red shaded part in your map is showing present day Iraq and Iran i.e. Khulafah Abbasiyah (Abbasid Caliphate).

Great Seljuks? But is a biggest Empire !

I do not understand , in my info, first the Ghaznavid is a Empire, and Khwarazmian revolt and create a Empire, later are a vassal state of Great Seljuks, and later as independent rulers , but the years of establishment of this kingdoms is so confused, and many mods add Khwarazmian in this zone, Stainless Steel is a exemple, is a error add other faction in this zone, or only Great Seljuks is a valid faction?

Add Ghaznavid faction in this zone is a anti-historical error or not? maps says other thing...Great Seljuks no enter in my initial plans to put in this mod.

How much is better, realisitic, accurate or historical, add Ghaznavid or Khwarazmian faction in this zone?

In 1143 that area was the centre of the Great Seljuk empire, which was in decline, but still in game, so to speak. The Ghaznavids lost their Iranian possessions in the middle of XI c., and the Khwarezmians didn't reach Hamadan until last decade of XII c.

A many questions:

1: Ghaznavids lost the Iranian regions by Seljuk Empire or another faction?

2: In conclusion in the red zone can put the Seljuk Empire, (who was dying) or can put Ghaznavids ( little anti-historical position) Is correct?

3: I can put rebel in the red zone is easy but I'm not happy trying this option, is realistic?

pd: I create many months a faction named Ghaznavid Empire and put in this zone, I think it makes no sense to have created this faction...

Yes, the Ghaznavids lost those lands to the Seljuks. If you want to make it realistic, then you should place the Seljuks there.

Ok, finally I think delete Ghaznavids of the red zone, but I don't put Seljuks, faction slots is completed,

I think rename faction, and created emergent faction Khwarazmian Empire, ( this is realistic and historical, or not? )
Seljuks are dying and I thinking put many rebels in this zone and represent this faction, This a solution gives me the option and don't delete Ghaznavid, and rename the faction for Khwarazmian Empire.
