Hit the splash screen and crash.

I load up Rome 2, hits the splash screen and I crash back to the desktop. Drivers are up to date, this last patch is what the game for me. Saves are gone though I have some back ups but I suppose that's besides the point, I tried the two prescribed fixes; one in which you go to your AppData folder and delete the Rome2 folder then verify cache. Didn't work. I have no mods installed, I reinstalled the game, still doesn't boot up. I'm really out for blood right now, run into a CA employee by chance and I'm liable to beat and batter him/her this game is nothing but problems. Painful cuz I still wanna play it, I like the period.

Feel free to close this. Had to lose my save files and every damn thing to get it working again. This game man.
