Some advices for sylvania?

Hi, im usually playing on vh/vh on every mods of med2/rome1, yesterday i try to start a campaign with sylvania (however great job guys, nice mod), but at third turn 2 full stack armies of stirland and 1 army of ostenmark (and also a 6 units of dwarves with their faction leader XD) invade me. Now, i ask if someone here can give me some advice because all of my units compared to empire units die a lot (yep they never retreat but they are destroyed quicly). I thouth i would have almost one units of blood dragons, but i was in false. I have read the sylvania guide for 1.4, but it is the first time i have to declare defeat because at turn 14/15 i have only drakenhof, my economy is always in red (upkeep also for the undead -_- what they eat to cost upkeep? XD) however if someone can tell me how he survived to the imperials zealots factions ill be really gratefull. Thx and sorry for mistakes, im noot eng.

There is couple threads about same topic, might help.

Numbers are your strenght, you can even recruit free units at campaign map from time to time.

Thanks they have helped a bit, unlickily i hadnt the blood knights/necrarch script and now i have to defend continuely drakenhof with also the crusade called on it XD. Ill probabily been vanquished, and it was never happened since 2004 that i ve bought rome1. Really a challenging faction . Maybe if i start on h/h it should be quite easier.

you can either try to weather the imperial assault until they deplete themselves/become occupied with other things or you can try expanding into the Border Princes lands which are fairly defensible and relatively easy to conquer.

^I like this guys advice. I once ended up migrating my forces to resettle in the desert so I have my left side completely defended. Then grew in power until I was able to retake Sylvania.
