    "D:\xxxxxxxxxxSaveParser.exe" to

Not sure if this helps, or is stated previously but-

Total War Games are currently installed on two hd
My os, desktop-where SaveParser is located is on my C drive.

    C: Warhammer 2, empire

B: Rome 2, Shogun 2, Medieval 2, soon to be attila

Upon inspection of the debugger, I located this

    - Checking configuration for: Warhammer2
-- savegame path exists : True
-- game path found in registry : True
--- game path in registry : B:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II

-- game exe exists : False
-- xml files exists : True
-- map files exists : True

I have located the file the the the large text is indicating and deleted it, and manually changed path to reflect the correct path. This worked, will repeat with Shogun, Rome 2, and if need be Attila. Will update shortly(also if I can edit some of my posts to reduce them or delete them please let me know.)

100% Solved. Sorry for so many messages lol. Thank you so very much. You and there parser hugely improve everything about the total war series, and are in part the reason I felt the need to upgrade my pc to continue to play the series.

I'm now seeing an ERROR or [KeyNotInDB] for everything that was added in the The Aye Aye! Patch and the Curse of the Vampire Coast campaign pack for Total War: WARHAMMER II.
Is there any way I can fix this myself or are you planning to update the SaveParser for this version of the game?

This may be inane and you may have answered this question before possibly many times but why does ETW and NTW not have some of the abilities all of the others share for the most part? I only ask because I am new to this and was hoping this tool would be able to modify the MP save file for the campaign im in with a friend we started with small unit size (And a long way into the campaign so restarting isn't preferable) and are unable to change it in the in-game options. If this tool is able to do this can somebody tell me how?

    Thanks

Sorry if this question is stupid I'm sure the opening part of it comes up enough

Yes update will be soon. But I have to buy DLC first.
Yes, there is a way to update it by yourself but thats kinda complicated and MAY not work, if savegame structure was changed because of new DLC.

Nope not really often asked. Well, because ETW and NTW are kinda old, and not many people asked to enhance SaveParser for E/NTW.
You can change unit size manually:
    1) Load a savegame for NTW in the SaveParser
    2) Parse for factions and right click faction 0
    3) click "open in EditSF"
    4) navigate to TreeNode ["CAMPAIGN_ENV"]["CAMPAIGN_SETUP"]["CAMPAIGN_SETUP_OPTIONS"];It SHOULD be the first row.
    The value itself as one of the following: 0.35 0.5 0.75 1 2 4
    1 is normal.
btw the last two rows contain the values for max units in an army and navies. default 20 and 20
    5) change value and press "Accept changes and close"
    6) save savegame.

Thank you this was very useful information!

It's me again... I got the save file off of my friend so I could edit it (He was hosting the game) It won't let me edit it as it says its set to singleplayer saves so I can't even select the file to begin with to use EditSF (which I tried it using your instructions on a test singleplayer game and they were very clear so I do now know how to use it once I can open it) So i guess my question is how do I toggle save parser to multiplayer save game mode?

Ah ok, hm. do you have normal EditSF? Use that for this purpose.

I would if I knew how to correctly attach the file I just tried in advanced but don't know if it worked. I tried to upload the original unmodified save file (I downloaded EditSF separately and that seemed to work fine however I have not yet had the chance to play the save to see if it works) However if you meant you would add multiplayer save editing to save parser by enhancing it, I'm all for that hopefully the attachment worked.

Also this is great tool honestly I was surprised to get a reply most TW tools I've seen out there don't have continued support from the game they started with onwards and their authors have abandoned the project.

multiplayer_campaign_76561198098670600_76561198173286407_43.rar I think I figured it out did this work?

Hello. I had previously used a much older version of this application back with the first TW:W. I am very happy to see it's still being updated. I am having some trouble discovering some of its functionality, though.

Is there a way to edit/modify missions and mission states?

    Examples include:

Can I cause a mission to trigger (if I were to need one to appear so I could go for bonus chapter objectives)?

Can I change it's status somehow (increasing the amount of time left for completion; change type entirely, e.g. take over x city to instead defeat y lord, etc.)?

Can I remove it entirely? (just like I can remove traits entirely, can I just remove a mission and make it seem as if it never appeared in the first place)?

Ultimately I am looking for the ability to manipulate the (semi) RANDOM mission system. I am not concerned with the quests (such as those tied to unique items). I realize these systems are probably intertwined with the random events as well.

Thanks for your time answering these questions.

Apologies if I somehow submitted duplicate messages. Might've done something wrong.

Thanks for continuing support of this app. I last used it with TW:W1 and just picked it up again tonight.

I am trying to figure it out if it is possible to manipulate missions and their states. Such as:

-changing amount of time left to complete a mission

    -changing mission type (conquest/recruit/attack)

-removing them entirely (just like you can remove traits from a hero/lord and make it seem like they were never there)

I realize this might be heavily tied to the random event systems. Please let me know if anything of the sort if possible. Thanks for your time.

    Not with this tool.
But you can try following with this tools:
Load your savegame and parse for factions and right-click the row of you faction and click "open in EditSF" and navigate to CAMPAIGN_MISSIOM_MANAGER and directly edit the entires.

Great work, this tool is very useful!

Any plans on making it compitable with the Radious mod?

Apologises if it's been asked before.

Does Save Parser work with Shogun 2 Multiplayer saves? Every time I try to load any save file from any multiplayer game I have made it gives the following error.

As soon as I hit ok it gives me another error below

Finally the ouput from the debug windows shows the following. It seems to contradict itself

Hi. Can't seem to find the files for the games listed in the readme file. It just redirects to the main download list and says the file doesn't exist. Same error for any of the game links.
