    Hello, I have a question about this tool.
    Ccan it be used to "revive" dead generals killed in battle? Opening my mp savegame I can see the alive ones, but I was told the game keeps track of dead ones somewhere.

    @Commissar7:
    Sorry, dead characters are not listed in the CHARACTER_ARRAY:

    For your factions are 6 charcters in that Array:
    3 generals (including "Zacharie Beastscourge") and 3 colonels.
    I hoped to find your "Baldmere le Jungleur" among the colonels, but nope.

    What did I do?
    I parsed your savegame for characters with filter "-all" and then with filter "-COLONELS"
    then I cross-check with the SaveViewer following node "MULTIPLAYER_CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME|COMPRESSED_DATA|CAMPAIGN_ENV|CAMPAIGN_MODEL|WORLD|FACTION_ARRAY|FACTION_ARRAY - 0|FACTION|CHARACTER_ARRAY"
    -> 6 entries. (3 generals and 3 colonels)
    Therefore I came to the conclusion deads are really not there.
    I am sorry.

    Expect Fix tomorrow.

    That's no problem at all! Baldmere le Jungler should have known better before bringing his band of filthy peasants in hostile territory.

    Damn, can't find the way to edit my original post, so here's a new one.

    Now I remember, when I opened my save file with editSF, and looking at my faction stats I saw a branch called "morgue", but it was empty. That is also what gave me this ridiculous idea!

    No your idea was def not ridiculous. There could have been a chance to revive them.

    Great Work on Saveparser Ronin!

    Though I have a problem with a particular situation. In Shogun 2 there's a mod called Master of Strategy Final which at first allowed me to use saveparser in the beginning (I edited my daimyo) however later I found a strange error dealing with Ulnt32 with Value being too large or small. When investigating, I found a that files that reach a certain size (around 8,000 kb) tend to cause this error due to the Max Ulnt32 set with the saveparser. Even with mods, Shogun's save files take less on than attila's. Can you check on the Ulnt32 size maximum with Shogun 2 and possibly release a fix/solution for this?

    Thanx. If you could provide me your savegame file I could debug your situation.

    HappyPotato's Comparison Save.rarHappyPotato's Problem.rar

    -The Comparison file labeled with SP is to show that the SaveParser does work with the mod but stops working later on when the file grows in the Problem file

    -What I don't get is why the SaveParser is able to read Atilla Files which are more than 10000kb than the problem file which is around 8000kb just saying

    Anyway Thanks for the assistance!

    Just going to say that chrome might say it's dangerous for some odd reason but it's safe.

    Thanx for the file! I do not think it has to do with the savegame file size, but more with the as written in the "Known issues" section in the ReadMe.txt....
    Code:
    Known issues:
    ...
    Shogun2:
    - Overflow-Exception: error parsing IDs of for characters, factions or armies. if this happens, save savegame within the game again. Maybe you have to resave more than just once to have a savegame with "valid" ids.
    ,,,
    Shogun2 creates in the later game enourmous high ids that overflows my id-definition (int).

    Yeah, I posted the same issue here a few months back Saving again seems to work for me, not straight away necessarily, but if I do it enough times it does normally work, eventually.

    Ah true, yes - you did How many times you have to resave in average till you get "clean" ids?
