ETW & NTW Game of the Year Edition Reinstallation

Hi...

I've just bought this in a sale, already owning the original games, but keen to play the Warpath and Peninsula Campaign extras...I have attempted to reinstall both games using the new discs, but I only seem to get exactly what I had before with no additional content. I would be very grateful if somebody could point me in the direction of step-by-step guide to rectifying this with as little internet usage as possible, because I only have access to good downloading facilities for two more days...

Did they give you activation codes for them? They should have IF they were included as part of the deal.

I've got activation codes, but never, at any point during the installation, was I asked for them...I even put them in via "Add Game" and they told me I already have the relevant product, but I still see no difference in my game content...

You won't . It was all downloaded by the last patch. If you buy any of the DLC, they get unlocked, not downloaded. This is why my Empire folder is about twice the size it should be.

How, then, can I get to actually play the Peninsula or Warpath Campaign, unlocked or not, if I see no option for them on the menu when I lauch the games?

Have you tried exiting Steam and logging back in?

Have you tried rebooting your computer?

Still no sign of any new content in the DLC properties tab or on the game when lauched...They seem quite happy to let me know how to purchase the same, but give me no option to unlock it when I already own it...

Time for you to ask the Steam forums. There is a way but I have not bought any DLC to fill in the gaps.

I asked on the Steam Forums, but so far no response...My attempt to contact Steam support led to a series of automated questions that led me to the Sega site with similarly limited options...I'm not particularly keen on opening a second Steam account, as I haven't got enough bandwidth to cope with the downloads again and I've already entered the codes on my packaging for GOTY several times, so they're probably useless in a new account anyway...I just want to unlock the material I've paid for!...
