I anticipate the violence and am willing to steel both myself in physic and myself in spirit.
I do not make that commotion to incite without just reason,
but I am prepared to allow the enemy to become defeated.
It is his own will that shall kill him, not my sword which has been plunged deep into his flesh.
I arrive and now understand my weapon has melted as lava into poetry, verse, and words.
My armor is as quick wit, wisdom, experience, intellect, and sensitivity.
With all this I will make calm the spirit of my allies,
and throw flame to the spirit of our enemies.
Those who do not anticipate myself yet stubbornly bring chaos to my own domain
shall be put to that test of tranquil virtue.
