Know Issues:-

1) CTD when zooming in to view a settlement
2) Thrace minor graphical issue + chariot textures
3) Trojan very minor graphical issue.
4) Slav & romano-british defeat messages. (not a bug, just annoying)
5) CTD When playing custom battle with epic walled settlement.

I have a clean installion of BI 1.6 installed. I installed troy mod started camplain..But when i push END turn the game clashes...

Ok here is the hotfix, all this trouble was caused over one buggy name

I have included the descr_strat and export_descr_unit of my version too just to make sure.

I added the fix for the bug and now when i click on the bi icon to run game it crashes......and i'm not a rookie when it comes to this game and file fixing.

Did you add the files to the correct places and replace the old ones? The fix goes into the BI data folder of course with the names.txt in the text folder and the descr_strat in the world/maps/campaign/barbarian_invasion folder just like the way i have the download directory.

I will release an exe version for people just incase, but please let me know if it all works ok first

Zhuge it worked for me I have gotten past the first turn...but maybe I have done something wrong. I used the installer and deleted events.idx as instructed but at the start of the campaign I get 3 messages

(1) Romano-British destroyed
(2) Slavs destroyed
(3) Eastern Culture is the most powerful.

As I said, probably no bug just my own stupidity?

That is normal, unfortunately nobody told me how to get rid of those messages when i asked here at TWC. Being a 2D/3D artist myself i am not inclined towards coding (though was forced to complete the mod on my own) and so it is my lack of knowledge which has caused these messages. It isn't a bug as such.

My responce was lightning fast because i've been on edge since i was told there was a serious bug in the final release which freaked me out what with it being released over 5 forums lol.

I don't have that problem, it may be to do with your RTW/BI setup. Are you running several mods at once?
