    I fixed it!

    So apparently the pip that should be displayed for negative cultural differences doesnt exist in NTW or ETW (I reinstalled etw on a hunch thinking it might be in the files, nope). However there are the 3 files you sent me and conquest_cultural_differences-unhappy is not the same thing because its "conquest" not just plain cultural differences. So as a test i took conquest_cultural_differences-unhappy and renamed it a couple different ways since i wasnt sure what the file the game was referencing was called.

    Well after a couple tries i found the right name, culture-unhappy!

    Ironically Poland is the only region that has this pip but i still really wanted to fix it haha.

    Hah, looks like developers simply forgot to pack or correct name it in the original game . Strange, that I never noticed such thing.

    But, have you ever think to replace religy with some politics, similar like it is done in Iberian campaign?

    E. g., instead of Pro-French or Anti-French alignment, it could be Pro-War and Anti-War, when all countries (regions) will start with 100% Pro-War alignment and, when the campaign progress and military buildings built, converse religy (Anti-War) agents-politicians recruited (if it is possible), it will start slowny change to Anti-War, cousing first disturbance and then probably rebellions if it is not properly handled. I think it will look quite realistic for the period.

    Of course, it will need lots of testing, so just an idea for future.

    That is a really cool idea but as you say it would take alot of play testing as well as creating new 2D assets for the pips and such. Definitely something to think about.

    This is a bit of a passion project of mine actually. I have pages and pages of notes about a middle eastern campaign, unit lists, generals, startpos region mockups etc etc... but i dont really have the time or the skills to pull it off just yet but its something i day dream about from time to time.

    Hello. New to this mod and to these forums. I am using 5.1.4 and am a bit confused. I have units with apparently only one soldier, weapons with no ammunition, warships with wood hulls and sails, and spies that don't do anything. Are there mod packs I am supposed to be adding to get the correct unit strengths and some bullets to shoot?

    Did you also download 5.1 and install that first?

    Hmm odd, you might need to uninstall and reinstall everything including NTW. Did you install it on the C drive?

    Can i Suggest a Better Upgraded Launcher as the current launcher seems to play pooku -poo with me and launch when his majesty will

    Edit: i manged to get the mod working by following this steps
    1- run as administrator "obvious"
    2-choose the "alternate launch method" option from the upper left pop up menu "launcher options"
    3-"install the mod" option from t pop up menu "alternate launch method"
    4-"launch the game from the "Launch game"
    5-the game opens and all is fine

    First of all, I have to say that Great War is a fantastic mod to NTW, I love it


    But I think the mod is urgently needed for ships!
    Sure, you may think it is pointless with ships firing all over the battlefield. My suggestion to get around this problem is to reduce the range of the guns, by half or 2/3 of their actual range. Just to get to an accepting game mode

    On my German Empire game, only the first line of the German Guard Infantry Battalion fires. The rear lines do not fire. On the other hand other Rifle Infantry Battalions have this ability. Is this normal or a bug? If it's a bug, anyway to fix it?(I can open .pack files)
