    This is the first line in the modelDB file. Red is the number of models listed in the file (number varies with each mod). Increase by one for every model you add:

    There is no number in front of the model name:

    14 master_rangers

    Your model requires 4 textures, one mesh file and one set of sprite files (consisting of one SPR file and one or several numbered texture files of the same name)
    The CFG file has nothing to do with editing of files, if you are not able to edit and save a file then it will have been set to read-only (usually by a previous modder).

    The best is to use Notepad++ for editing - then highlight\select the word. At the bottom you will find the count for your selection:

    Oh nevermind. I got it. Im tryung to import Haven Gaurd from Reforged to divide and Conquer, or at least change their model.

    Like i said before i'm trying to transfer unit model from Third Age (D&C) to Third Age (Reforged). Firsty im tried to just change thier model but game is crushing if units is in battle.
    The problem is units name and units model have the same name in both mods. Soldier name isn't the same. I dont know if i can have both.

    The soldier entry (haven_guard) defines which animation is being used - this is not a model entry.
    The armour_ug_models entries (cobas_haven, cobas_haven) are the actual models used.

    I am assuming that is done because you may not have the Warhammer_HR_2H animation (cavalry) in the mod. Technically a simple copy of the animation from haven_guard (infantry) would have done the trick (and save you disk space). Changing the soldier entry then to cobas_haven rounds it up.

    You need change export_descr_buildings . like recruit_pool "Theigns" 1 0.2 2 0 requires factions { Saxons, hre, } i added to hre since it can be used tho for hre not only saxons. u can do this line u add in the castle/town building . if its barracks = infantry , Archer Ranger= Archer, Stable= horse, and some can be added in the wall of city or castle.

    Do not forget to increase the model count number in the first line of the modelDB by the number of models you add.
