I didn't start playing until 1.7.2, but I think it is still a good game.

Got minecraft 1.8.8 today for my 7yo son.
We learned how to make a house, a bed, fire (aka torch), and a furnace to cook meat, AND most importantly we got a Spiderman skin

Wanted try multiplayer but there seem so many servers on the inernets. Can anyone recommend a good one?

After a year-long hiatus from the game I've recently returned and am currently enjoying some of the popular survival modpacks out there. If anyone is interested in setting up a small server or something for those of us who still play feel free to send me a message. I'd be willing to pay for server hosting if there's a small group of people interested.

I'm planning to finally get into MC properly once get a desktop PC built, my otherwise quite sufficient laptop just isn't friends with Minecraft and gets horrible FPS, especially when trees and vines are involved, for some reason.

Geez it's been ages since I touched this game. I might reinstall it and stop in if you set up a server Roxas, but I don't think I'll go all out like I used to.

I remember I used to plan these gigantic-ass builds of which I only ever managed to finish two. The original Legion fort and the Endar Spire from KOTOR. Man I miss that last one, it was badass.
