I encountered two cavalry units in my campaign using the SPQR banner unjustly:

    1. Sacred band of Astarte.
    2. Boiotian Xysterophoi.

I hope the makers of this mod can explain to me why this happens? If there is possibility, how can I change those banners into the correct ones for those cavalry?

    Greetings,

P.S: I still enjoy the mod VERY much. The battle are far more epic than in Rome II and it handles more units than the newer game. Thank you RS2 team!
It will be fixed in the next patch...I finally figured out what was doing it.

Is anyone besides me having a problem getting their old disk versions of the game to work? I reinstalled the game and I cant even get the base Rome to run at all. Clicking the icon does nothing, doesnt even register with the Windows Task Manager. Have completely uninstalled and reinstalled on different drives and still nothing at all runs after installation. I dont understand it. Have been to the Total War forums and as usual they are useless. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Any suggestions? I am running windows 7 and have tried compatibility modes and run as admin. Steam version is not an option because it wont play RS II.

The issue is discussed here. Microsoft has screwed us.

Diocle found a solution that works for me. Should for everyone experiencing the same problem I was with Windows 7 or 8. Reinstalling RS II now... Will report back if there are any other problems.

    Ive found a better way!

Move away the installation from C:/

Move it to my Documents /the folders in My Music & My Pictures

The pivotal point is that it is disabling the securom-check, that is suspecting hardwired to look at C:

I have Windows 10 and play RS 3.1

I have Win10 and a separate HD (out of total 3 HDs) for games (and similar hobby stuff) only. There I install all my games, and RTW has been installed pretty well, from DVD edition (good old times... now it even did not require authorization code...).
    And everything works pretty fine.
