Default Bactria likely to come out as free-lc

So before patch 7 bactria was in the alphabetic round of the factions, but now with the arrival of patch 7 they are suddenly in the middle of the playable factions,

The same happened to Seleukeia and the nomads

so it's very likely they will come as free-lc or Classic DLC

    what are you guys thoughts?

Giving you free stuff that you already paid for in order for you to praise them for their good deeds. But that's just my thought.

you guys expect too much free stuff. maybe ca will do another promotion with a 1 week free for current owners if at all. another incentive for players who hasn't bought the game of course it wouldn't have the same attraction the nomads had

What's the difference to other factions? They are same as an playable faction we have.

So it is like carbide said. They sold us as free something what we paid for at release. It is nothing new.

For free I would like a much better political system with more economy and military missions. All in one more decisions which have be make by player.

I'm now curious as to what exactly you we're expecting for the game upon release date?

    How about a finished game?
one that's not described by Britain's most reputable publication as "This does not channel the greatest military empire in history so much as the pale shadow of its ending; a bloated, technically corrupt and unfocused mess."

It seems the only things finished, tested, and well done were the units and the artwork involved in them from the campaign map to the battlefield (which modders will still improve with lots of time on their hands, fixing elephants, fine tuning historical accuracy, better textures, etc).

A free bactria dlc makes sense. The end of the map is dead right now. A finished game without insta-transformer navies, working AI, and a broken political system that feels like a hollow afterthought would be better.

    Amen!

Free this and free that... while we work on getting it working after you paid for it.

Bactria...the perfect faction to get the "This is Total War" achievement ("Win the game having declared war on every faction the turn you encountered them, as well as never negotiating a peace treaty").

    Ha! Yeah, right.

But, on topic -- Bactria! Whoo! I've been hoping for this! Praying! Though, it would be best with an extension of territory eastward to replicate the fact that Bactria became an Indo-Greek Kingdom and had contact with the Mauryan dynasty of India. Or at least something like the Mongols from Medieval II in the form of Indian armies.

are some of you guys new to pc gaming? there are no finished pc games. they all require patching. only a very few comes close to a finished product on release. I judge a pc game on the post launch support. it is why I like blizzard games(constant content patches, not just fixes, for years), and cdpred of the witcher series.

Even consoles love your mentality because they've jumped on the same path requiring internet to finish the game. You're the ideal customer, judging them based on how they finishing it after handing them the money.

yup, I started pc gaming in 1998 I built my first pc that year. multiplayer was pretty popular by then already. broadband was starting. but butan, you have to admit that games have become way too complicated to be bug free games were few hundred megs when I started, now they are 20+ gigs, and yes I know most of that are content and graphics.

where did consoles come from? ahhaha, where did I ever mention consoles in my post? I am simply stating how pc games work. and according to butan, after internet all pc games require patching. welcome to the party. better late than never.

to throw you a bone. console games became the same as pc games after xbox was release. go cry about it to microsoft and their QA department. not to me, the pc crowd, or ca.
