The next game shall be Medieval 3: (in new game engine!)
Look at these:
China Total War (warring states period)
But after CA has fixed ROME 2!!!

I voted Dark age but Barbarian invasion 2 would be great also.
I would go with Hannibal (or 1st punic war) and they ought to do that IMO.
Hannibal was in the promo videos etc etc.
alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.
"Angry Uncle Gordon" describes me well.

I voted Barbarian Invasion
Game cannot be fixed so move on.
Expansions are for good games, if you don't enjoy the main game, expansions shouldn't come.

personally I think that a Greece total war should have also southern Italy and Sicily, and personally I prefer also a good part of North Africa, From Egypt to Carthage. And of course Anatolia, and great part of Middle East. You can't do a game about classical greece without the "international" continue relation with Persia, and also for the Greeks on the west, with Carthage.

I don't want to see another sequel game. Two in a row is already a stretch. Besides, Middle Ages aren't really that interesting to me. I feel the High Middle Ages are a bit too cliche now, but the Dark Ages would be cool.
So Dark Ages for me. It's an in-between zone for BI2 and M3. I think if they made BI with a really dark feel to it (as opposed to bright and peachy Rome) things might be better though. I'm not sure if anybody else noticed, but I always thought BI was a lot darker than the original Rome 2.

barbarian invasion 2 of course
There are already bits and pieces of the next two dlc expansions in the Rome 2 tables if you look close enough. The biggest one I found are references to PUNIC WARS. I have to wait until I get home before I can look again at the other dlc I saw in there.
@Sun Jetzu
That doesn't make much sense to me as Barbarian Invasion was to Rome 1 like FoTS was to Shogun 2.
Why wouldn't you? If CA does it decently you'd have a brand new setting to play in with new religions, techs, etc.
Edit:
Lol Jamreal, a Warring States TW and you have pictures of the Imjin War, and Medieval China.![]()
