Where is the mod to download? It should only take about half an hour and once I get the save by tonight my turn will be up.

You need the latest patch for Medieval 2 Kingdoms IIRC, also you need to download TATW 3.0 version plus patch 3.1 and 3.2.

Install it in this order

3.0 Part 1
3.0 Part 2
3.1 Patch
3.2 Patch

If you have any problems there is a guide on how to install on that link. You shouldnt be doing lots of stuff on your PC while its downloading incase of corrupting the files.

But isn't 3.2 a standalone so why do I have to download 3.0 and 3.1 first?

it's not a stand alone 3.0 was the last standalone , 3.1 and 3.2 are expansions adding and fixing things

Changed rule on invasions: Invasions are not allowed. (previous rule: not before turn 50).

Reason: Good factions already have the short end in TATW largely. Furthermore it would be a source of cheat attempts and abuses.

I've Played my turn, but Third Age seems to be saving to an invisible folder that It can find in the game, but isn't actually a file anywhere

have you checked virtual store ? assuming you are windows 7 or later . you have to unhide hidden folders then go to an address something like this :C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

go find your saves the normal way program files/med 2 etc after this address

It will of course always save in your saves folder. It would be easy though if you make a shortcut of that map on your desktop, then you don't have to dig into all these folders everytime you want to upload a save
