While information is sketchy, it seems that a number of shots were fired at people outside an Athens office of the Golden Dawn party. Two persons are dead, very probably GD members. The identity of the perpetrators is unclear. Police thinks it was a "terrorist act".

If indeed the perpetrators were members of a far left group, this goes to show that stupidity is not associated with a specific hue of the political spectrum. I hope they are arrested and tried and condemned. Presumption of innocence be damned.

4) We shouldn't politicize such a tragedy.

And that kind of approach has been extended to all European/Western countries.

I completely agree with you, but now one question to you Garb. What would we say and write about this 'terrorists' if it was 1935 and the shots were fired against members of the NSDAP, Nazi-party? Would it be terrorism or would it be a act of protest? I think its to easily to say this group is the same as Golden Dawn, especially if you don't know yet who's behind it.
