Going back through the Mass effects and need help.

Being the usual "Ages behind everything" person i am, im trying to do my first ME1-3 playthough having only ever played the first half of the original ME.

Im nearly at the end of the first game but ive hit a minor but annoying issue for me, an unwanted Romance with Williams.
I had the "We are friends" speach with Laira but never seemed to get that with Williams and just being the friendly person ended up forced into it.

Simply is their a way to get out of it after Virmire? if not i think i got a quick save set just before you choose who dies, if i kill her off will i get that silly picture on my desk crap? or not much at all.

Im sure ill have some better questions to be answered once i get into ME2 to make this thread worth it

Youll regret it, she whines constnatly for the next 2 games, Long gone are the 'No Bshit xenophobic' remarks she makes in mass effect 1, she becomes all needy and sentimental in the last 2 games

I ended up going back to my quicksave which luckily was just before the choice and killed her off only reason i saved her the first time was that it seemed more logical for Shepard to continue onto the AA gun then to go back to the bomb.
I made the mistake of thinking that putting her on the Salarian team would be an automatic death sentence rather then a silly choice later on, saving me the guilt of choosing.

Finished ME2, i somehow managed to flirt with jack and piss her off with my proper relationship with Tali.

Also i hate how easy it is to get paragon/renagade points, a few harmless clicks and my Ultimate paragon Soldier had a quarter Renagade.

Yes, Bioware decided to throw in some diversity.

You could easily feel the sexual tension since ME1 though.

Good question. It's hard to call it "forced" when you can completely ignore it and/or kill it in its tracks via dialogue...

Bit harsh, no? Just tell Kaidan that your not interested and the game recognizes it. It's just a game. Yeah Kaidan was always my favorite over Ashley. I liked his character more simply. Just reload. Jack is also pretty "clingy" too for some reason. Kelly, Miranda, etc. gave me no problems and I pursued a relationship with Tali fine. Except well Jack who seems really . I kind of regret recruiting her. It's not that she's a bad character in that she's unrealistic or anything I honestly just don't like her. It's weird in that I came into ME2 straight from the first one and I hated Cerberus in that one. I excepted Jacob to be a dick and Miranda to be a , but I came to like both characters. Jack who ing hates Cerberus is the one that I had problems with.
