:::i took most these images myself:::

Le locle and it's valley, this is the very valley where Swiss watches such as Rolex, Tissot, Zenith, Philippe Patek, Quintin etc.. are made (i made parts for somes of these companies), this is believed to be the birthplaces of wristwatches:

The Doubs (in winter (frozen)), it's a river that is currently making the border between france and switzerland, it is possible Julius Ceasar passed this river. the far side is france, i'm standing in switzerland:

now, Morat, some people may know that Morat was the place where Charles of burgundy was defeated by the swiss. this is the castle of Morat:

Main entrance to barracks(right) and stables (far left) (now converted into offices). remnants of the main gate (original design but restored) can be seen

The main walls of Morat, these are pretty much in the same state as they would have been during the siege, the roof of the walls probably would not have been there however.

Six Commune (image from wikipedia commons (from Roland Zumbhert)), this building was originally a roman post where they would swap horses and stay for the night, the original building has been extensively remade and change over time, the road infront of it (that goes parrallel to it), it where to roman road was, (the road follows relatively the same path for most of it's length).

The Londron, it's a small ring-fort town, where houses would be attached to one another in a circle with one or two entrances (thus forming a fort with their own houses).

    back entrance:

Main (front) entrances. the doors have been removed, the slot for the portcullise is still visible, along as the murder-holes. and the hinges for the original gates.

Now for those who enjoy a good sip of absinth, would know that you need to dry wormwood as to make absinth in houses. this is such house, it's common for the house to rock back-and-fourth when there is wind. (still used today, and was used in clandastine fashion when absinth was banned in switzerland). the village it sits in, boveresse, and it's valley it's in (val-de-travers) is the very birthplace of Absinth

*Murten is known of course because of the Burgundian Wars. Do you have a photo of Vully (an oppidum) or others from Avanches (a gallo-roman city)? There must be a reconstruction of a celtic gate contruction or at least some parts of a celtic wall. I haven't seen the reconstruction myself.
