It works and seems stable, suppose it is a "WHQL" release so that normally is trusted and tested

From the testing on my rig and also Prussianprince this driver (this time) does not affect performance positively or negatively. So far the fastest driver for Rome 2 based on the records I made is the 332.21. It gives a "boost" on very high / high settings. Just to notice I am talking about +3 fps average here , so it is not perfectly a reason to uninstall the 335.23

One thing is clear.. ..Nvidia really needs to step up to the plate.

As Nvidia has stated that there is not much they can do until CA gives them something to work with. It is CA's problem not Nvidia. CA needs to hire some competent coders. They also should test drive this game on the same type of computers that the public would be using so they could see what is not working and what is. And if they do then they are purposely creating this crap we have to deal with.

Well the inspector for me was quite self explaining but you will fail to enable real antialiasing as the games does not support it internally, he will skip the forced settings unfortunately.

I don't know about a tutorial. Youtube perhaps?

Hi guys the 337.81 driver has been just released and seems to end the beta phase. So the formerly discussed benefits plus some more are now available without the BETA tag.

Interestingly the former massive performance gains (up to 70%) for Rome 2 the 337.61 had in its change notes are not longer mentioned, as they did not exist at all in this masive amount Nvidia communicated them, even not on their own benchmark page.

Before 337.88 driver I got 42.5 FPS avg on the benchmark on my GTX 780 on extreme settings. After 337.88 I could only manage 42.0 avg FPS on the same settings. So no improvements for me I'm afraid.

you could try to visit the official NVidia forums for a solution on this issue. Their support is quick and solid.

Otherwise, if you feel save use the lastest version of the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).

Before you do this please check if you have dl the correct package there are some for notebooks (GT(S/X) xxxM) and desktop chipsets (GT(S/X) xxx)
most likely you cannot install the driver if you have dl the wrong package or in VERY rare cases your card is not supported.

Strange...My GTX-660 does not have any issue with 337 driver!
