Thanks!
alQamar, I take it that the new Nvidia drivers had no effect on performance?
http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/71782
Still no support for Rome 2!!
It's not their fault. Not much they can do when CA doesn't give a about Nvidia users.
"It's bizarre though. Donald Trump, an ageing, orange skinned reality TV star with a history of selling steaks and conning people, a trophy wife and one of the most fragile egos I've seen pretty much just destroyed the head of the interventionist faction in the US State apparatus, Victoria Nuland, after literally becoming President of the United states. We must live in one of the more interesting timelines."

I cannot say this for sure as I missed to test hotfix 2 for patch 8.1 solely. In most presets the performance decreased

some even report installation problems but I am had none, so I don't know if those a "local" issues.
I hope you understand my motivation to post it here to get more attention for while.
A merge with your existing nvidia thread would be the likely decision after a while. The support section is read by CA but there is no replies and management on that cases like on .com, even though I have to say in some cases the acknowledgement of threads seems random to me. Perhaps I am too impatient. After all I don't know their methods and workloads.
However the issue with missing performance lead me to announce it as a support case.

Many of my past contributions in the time from 2011-2017 will contain content that now show broken links. Unfortunately I had to delete all pictures linked on TWC that were hosted on imageshack.us. Read why

Thanks mate and no problem. I've updated the op with new driver details.
Hi guys,
if anyone of you experienced installation issues with the latest 332.31 nvidia drivers, an update has been released today.
The issue was a bug in the experience tool. If you had the message "installation corrupt" on installation of the 332.31 driver please follow this instructions:
1. Install / update Nvidia Experience to 1.8.2.0 >> http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience
2. Then install the 332.31 driver from the source as usual.
3. the issue should be solved and the driver installation should work
wolar or anyone else, can you repost this on totalwar.com here?
thanks!

New beta driver available from Nvidia, op updated. No mention of Rome 2, but.. ..Total War: Shogun 2 – 3d vision rating is now “Good”.
No proper CF/SLI from CA's side means no support from NVIDIA (understandably).

Up to 5% - Total War Rome 2
Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.

I now am getting mid-high 20s in large melee battles instead of single digits to low teens. So I did get a boost from this patch, ill have to test it more later.
Op updated with new 334.89 driver info and for the first time ever.. ..there should be an increase in performance for R2...
