RTW or BI doesn't lauch

Hello,

Please could you help me to solve the following problem:

I bought Rome Total War Gold Edition a few months ago, so i installed it on my old (and now dead computer). The installation itself was successful and the games launched perfectly.

So i reinstalled it on my new computer (works with windows 7, the previous one was working with xp), the installation was successful too even if i was never asked to give the game security key. But when i try to lauch the game, it didn't and a error box appeared with something like that written " An unspecified error is happened on the game Rome: Total War. The game 'll be suspended".

I tried to find information and a issue on the web, but i don't find anything, besides the the problem is happened to numerous people but none of the issues mentioned were successful...

So i hope you could help me, thanks

Thank you for your help, unfortunately it doesn't still lauch...I have uninstalled the game, disabled UAC, rebooted the PC and reinstalled the game, but the same error appears...

Yes, i paid attention to install it in C/ but outside Program Files.

No, i didnt. But to be sure, i just check this, the current owner is not a administrator, nor any other user (of course)!

You have to be logged in as Administrator for a lot of this to happen.

Setting the RTW and BI icons to "Run as Administrator" has also helped some.

I was logged in as Administrator (specific session as Administrator) when i installed the game.... Thank you for your help...
