Re: Bug Report - Map problem with 1.7
There is wrong file name set in descr_sm_resources, probably. Not problem. I'll check it when i get back home.

The exact coordinates of that silver mine are (201, 79). Try seeing if other silver mines are like it as well (theres one near Croton, on the boot of Italy), if so here's what to do:
First, delete all occuances of the map.rwm filehttp://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1211146#post1211146
Bug Report - Map problem with 1.7 (it's no use to have renamed ones anyway).
In your data folder, open descr_sm_resources.txt and make sure the section for silver looks like this:
type silver
trade_value 10
item data/models_strat/resource_silver.CAS
icon data/ui/resources/resource_silver.tga
Funnily enough I have 1.7beta and do not have that problem :S

Re: Bug Report - Map problem with 1.7
@JoeyJubb
I did delete the map.rwm (OK, I renamed it but it has the same effect - the idea of renaming files rather than deleting them is that you can always revert back to the orignal, if required).
In the top of the picture you can see the feet of another colussus.
@limes
It looks like the file is messed up. The entry for gold looks a bit dodgy as well.
type gold ; = small town
trade_value 10
item data/models_strat/residences/barb_town_buildings.CAS
icon data/ui/resources/resource_grain.tga
type silver ; = small village
trade_value 0
item data/models_strat/wonder_colossus.CAS
icon data/ui/resources/resource_grain.tga
I'll download the 1.7 full and install it over a clean copy of RTW patched to 1.5 (or whatever is required) - I've kept clean copies of the original so it's just a matter of copying. I didn't do any editing of files so I don't know where the crud came from.
Thanks
Brusilov.

@ Brusilov

type silver ; = small village
trade_value 0

Above entries was made by Chaotica for Metropolis Mod. He replaced mines with villages. I don't clearly remember, but should be sth like this:
type mine
trade_value .....
item data/models_strat/residences/mine_resource.CAS
icon data/ui/resources/....
I'll check it up soon.

Re: Bug Report - Map problem with 1.7
I have a nasty feeling that I may have installed the Metropolis mod onto RTR 6 PE (the download is in the area I have the PE downloads). Anyway, I've installed the full PE 1.6 and then the 1.7 patch. The map looks OK now.
Thanks for the help. Please close the topic.
