Well it would appear that at least some of them have advanced from the position they held the last time I was here, that GD aren't nazis, to a new one of "well, ok they are nazis, but look what these other people are doing".

I've been careful not to call Golden Dawn neo-Nazis, but rather fascists, because none of their official agenda espoused specifically Nazi views. Not that I've ever believe that its members weren't neo-Nazis, because that much has been obvious from the onset.

I haven't noticed any major shift of opinions of Greek members here.There are people who still denying that are nazis for their own reasons, but I haven't read someone admitting that he hold a wrong opinion and he views GD as nazi now

Exactly, but I had the honour to be threaten by other members to be revealed as a GD apologist , a unashamed and terrible lie posted earlier for my person, despite the fact that not only I had stated from the very first time that GD are neonazis/nazis/fascists and I welcomed the prosecution , but I have also advocated their total ban from the political scene.

They are definetly far right(?) or maybe even third-positionist. Though I'm not well read on GD, all I know is that they were persecuted by the government illegally recently. And from what I hear and heard the the government is pulling (and the meeting with top jews in NY by a certain government official(again I forget )) there to stop GD getting any more popular is similar to what other governments in western nations have done to other nationalist and fascist/nazi movements and political parties.

Also why do people like associating the symbol golden dawn uses to the crooked cross? Don't they know you can find that ancient Greek symbol on a coffee cup in New York?

It takes more than a deliberate choice of a ancient Greek symbol that resembles the nazi cross and that is the ideology of nazism.Regarding the latter I have no doubt that GD fills the criteria

And as GD thinks, the Aryans are subgreek species that "while our ancestors were building Parthenon they were living in trees" or something. Some of the GD are openly pro-Nazi. "They at least hunted down the communists!" is the excuse I've heard for the crimes Germans did on Greece during the occupation.


Also (I'm theorizing here) when you adamantly believe that stabbing to death those that disagree with you is justified and good, you expect the same. So, you think that those that are not Nazis may stab you since they disagree with you.
