    Default Rome Re-Hinged

This gets rid of the annoying "crazy" trait that seems to plague any unit that sits around in a city too long. Even though it has a 1% chance to happen per turn, it seems to happen way too much.

I commented out the triggers for it, but the trait still exists in the game files so nothing should break. I'm not sure if you need to start a new campaign or not... but for sure if a general already has the trait, this will not remove it. He just won't go up to the higher levels of crazy.

I've never been a fan of this trait in any Total War game, and is usually the first thing I mod out.

Movie or mod format. Not compatible with any mods that affect traits, obviously.

Built off the newest beta patch (27/09/2013)

edit 10/3: It crashes Rome on startup all of a sudden. Removed until I get it figured out

Pretty useful almost 60% of all the generals admirals have gone crazy. This will help a lot.

    Done.

Now with Mod format version for those of you who use Mod Manager. That excludes me, because

Was using zowrath's version but still seemed to get quite a bit of crazy generals. Decided to try yours but game crashes on start up with both mod and movie versions.

Are you playing beta patch 3? Probably wont work with patch 2...

Edit: If you are on patch 3, re-download. I updated them earlier today

Using latest patch 3, downloaded just before my previous post which was after your update post. Ended up just commenting out all the mad sections myself.

Strange. Works for me. Crashed before I updated it though.

Edit: looks like this mod was already done by zowrath. His mod reduces it, I completely remove it.

Strange things going on here. I used this fine all day yesterday, then today it crashes my game at startup. I remade it with the newest PFM and still no-go. None of my game files have been updated since 9.30 so I'm at a loss.

You should post what you have. I made my own mod for removing traits in Shogun 2, it's got to be similar. Tables are a little different but I'm sure the concept is still the same. If you keep the link available, other modders might be able to help you out. It would be highly unlikely any newb would finish this mod and post, then take credit for it. If it's anything like Shogun 2's Traits, you'll need to know a little bit about editing a script file.

I haven't tried it again lately, but after extracting the script file and creating my pack, it would crash the game, even if I didn't make any changes.

Any one can take this on if they want, it's export_triggers.lua in data_rome2.pack.

I use this mod now, which is incompatible with mine, so I have no motivation to keep it going. The 'crazy' spam has lessened considerably since CA patched it, so I see no reason to update it
